Why does the first track have a massive volume dip at 00:15?
Offline
Awesome! I've been anticipating this with bated breath!

I have few regrets in life, one of which is not contributing to this compilation. Great work.

Ok, on first listen overall this is a great release. The artwork is fantastic, I really enjoyed most of the tracks. Some I personally don't think made the cut, but whatever, I wont let a few bad apples spoil the batch.
Congrats all who participated.
Gotta love having new music on a Friday!

the comp is excellent, great jobs every1!! hooray!! cheers all around!!! yay!!!!! ^____________^ <3
i just noticed something tho, 2.... =/
idk whats up w/ that 1st track, but i did notice my track has some pretty bad volume and quality fluctuations in it as well. i dont think it needed 2 be mastered in my opinion, it was the highest quality i could have possibly made it already. i feel like it was actually made worse because of the mastering... im sorry, i dont mean 2 sound picky or rude... i really dont give a crap... my quality is usually pretty damn horrible anyways, heh... i did spend a lot of time in making this track high quality tho... im sure u spent a lot of time and energy in2 mastering it, and i am very grateful and thankful still... however, the quality of my submitted track defin8ly declined, and the only reason i am bringing this up is because this will get a lot of exposure and whoever does get 2 hear this will receive a version that i feel is worse, and this version is not the way that it should sound or what i would have liked ppl 2 hear. =/
im sorry. i dont rly want 2 complain. i dont expect any1 2 have 2 do anything about it either. no worries. is it just me? or have more ( or all? ) tracks been affected in this way? sorry again, its just really noticeable 4 me. ( original / high quality has been uploaded here: http://www.soundclick.com/bands/page_so … ID=7783775 click "play hi-fi" link ). thanks 1nce again 2 every1 who put in their hard work and creativity in2 this compilation... it came out awesome, im so happy its finally here!! yay!!! =P
love it, special thx 2 justin and nathan, thank u guys so much! <3

this track is fucking awesome. quality was defin8ly affected b4.... ;_________________; <3

The songs have been normalized, and re-encoded at 192 kbs (for file size reasons).
@ Celsius - The dip in the first song is also heard in the original song that was sent to me before any normalization took place.
@ ESC. - super sorry about the song title, I think it got cut out from the rest of it being on a second line before copying and pasting. As far as the uncapped letters, I was just trying to make the artists names consistent unless noted by the artist. At this point, I can change the title in the notes text and on the track, but cant on the album art. If you want a detailed explanation why, email me.
@ Nikaena & Everyone else who had a higher bit rate (including myself) - sorry, had to re-encode for file size reasons. Other than normalization, there has been no mastering.

you like my track, maybe i read it wrong lol it looks like it says the track was bad b4 the comp?

I dare everybody to play see you in your sleep's song while in pitch black. I noticed a few of people deviating off the theme and adding upbeat percussion (even myself with my upscale melody's
). Not that its a bad thing but I would like to see some artists travel away from there comfort zone. Great compo all together zanzanzawaveia
esc your track is weird as fuck nikaena your song makes me want to kill some shit in the shadows i melt4fm. littlescalvania water level. If we where voting syis wins
p.s. me and derris use the same snare sample in our songs because we are l33t l1k3 th@ and my song has peaks when all channels are playing at once, was it the fucked up audacity mp3 i sent you just a nitpick because working with famitrackers vrc6 is weird like that sometimes.

Ah shit, there's some really great stuff on here. I couldn't sleep so now I'm listening to this at 2:15 in the morning. Timing is perfect.

no... i LOVE your track!... =P i meant the quality wasnt as good as b4, and i heard the 1 on the comp 1st so that was the 1 i meant b4. sorry heh... i loved both versions that i heard of course, the higher quality 1 is much clearer tho and has parts that i couldnt rly hear b4, it was affected in the same way that mine was. my remark was of the actual low quality of the sound normalization & lowered bitrate, not the performance or your actual song in any way. awesome stuff!! <3
well that solves it, its normalization and 192 kbps' fault. huzzah!! XD
hmm... maybe u could have zipped the discs seperately then? doesnt rly matter now i guess. i never like 2 normalize my stuff cos it just messes it all up and makes it sound like doo-doo in my opinion... oh well. its understandable, and no big deal rly. =P
...and thank u tristan... thats what its all 'bout.... your track is fuckin beautiful... i love it, amazing! ^______________^ <3
esc ur song is frikkin' awesome... ( yours and je deviens dj en 3 jours... good lord... r my top favs<333333 ). shame about the title. i was wondering if they were going 2 keep the arabic script in the title of my song, which interestingly enough tristan, says "shadow killer". ( القاتل ظل ) =P
*edit* heh... accidentally deleted my previous post if this doesnt make any sense.... @________________@

woohoo the artwork looks pretty sweet man, will listen soon...

I'd like to suggest that, in the future, issues concerning mistakes on a compilation be brought to the organizer of the comp privately, or maybe separately.
These are all completely valid complaints/concerns, but I think it'd be nice to have that stuff separate from the release. What do y'all think?
Anyway, I'd like to give a shout out to Jellica, Sparkyboy, .sylCMYK for some awesome tracks on this comp. I LOVE how you all managed to stick to your respective styles and still stick to the theme of this compilation.
And huge thanks to Amiga Agia for putting this together.

Hi. For people who wonder about the 1st track - 'Termi', I made it ![]()
This was made 15 years ago on Octomed which only had 2 left tracks and 2 right tracks.
On the intro I used the one sound on all the 4 tracks but obviously when you need the other instruments and drums, I could only put it on one track.
These were the limitations of the Amiga at the time.
However I will consider doing a more up to date version of the track if I get time and some interest.
Also just to mention, I have just released a new Amiga Album on iTunes.
Love the compilation it's excellent!
Well done and thanks Amiga Agia @)

He did this by stealing the sound from videogames. Ask me how.

Hey, this comp was pretty good... apart from that track by, who was it, Son-son Salamander? And which as far as I could tell was just seven minutes of self-indulgent, I-wish-this-NES-was-an-Amiga-ism. what a completely inscrutable and pointless song!
<3 tristendo

i totally forgot my name was on here untill the beware song popped up while i was listening XD
Really good job guys! Solid stuff, lots of different interpertations.
When are we going to do an Isis comp?

Some really great stuff on this comp! I really liked the tracks by Squareway, Jellica, Algar, Microchip, e.s.c., Beware / Oven Rake, little-scale, Nikaena Vizukae, Kurisu Bearcub, Zan-Zan-Zawa-Veia, Je Deviens DJ en 3 Jours, Monsters, Derris-Kharlan, and Receptors.

Great, but you could have done an album volume mastering...the difference on each track is a bit hurting, whatever, i'm listening to it !

I love how extremely out-of-place my track seems to be. All of these nice, slow melodies and complex movements and everything, then bam GENERATIVE SEGA CACOPHONY!!!
I had a completely different idea in my head than everybody else apparently when I heard "Night Stalker."
