Nonfinite electronics has generously contributed $1,500 to speed the development process along. Check the nonfinite electronics for more details on several bundle deals. He will also be matching my cart prices for the duration of the sale by handling 20 of the 50 cartridges for sale on ebay below.

Kitsch-Bent has a limited quantity of 15 USB Carts at $50
http://kitsch.bigcartel.com/product/usb-cartridge
So, I am working on an upgrade to the USB Gameboy Cartridges and Programmers. I want to go a completely different route and just make them drag and drop and show up as a USB drive on windows, linux, and mac.
I am selling the rest of the my stock of gameboy cartridges to raise funds for this project.
There will be 50 cartridges available for $50.
Current USB cart holders may purchase an additional cart and not worry about losing out on the opportunity to get the upgraded cart. When this time comes you may trade in your cartridge (if in like-new condition) plus a fee of $20 each. (Price change to $20 -- July 9th, 2009)
International customers must pay $12 for priority insured mail.
Anyone in the US shipping is $5.
Also, many of you might not know that I recently moved to a new office. 8bitcollective has a headquarters, but I am back at school. Funds of this sale will go towards rent, 8bc server fees, and the new USB Programmer/Carts.
As always, you may donate and have that donation credited to your purchase in the future.
Please email Jose.Torres (AT) 8bc (ORG) for any questions that you would like to send to me in private.
Anyone who has not received their cartridge yet, it will be sent out before sale items will.
[Update]
Programmers are $45, limit 20. Non-usb carts are still $30 available from http://nonelectronics.com. The programmers will be upgraded to Drag and Drop as well. Same deal on upgrades in the future. $20 for trade-in, good condition.

1. Sure.

Yes, $20 plus shipping. It needs to be clean.

Baller, I'll definitely hop on this, and would I be able to add a USB transferer on top of that (when the deal comes about)?

Will the new "Drag and Drop" USB Cart and Programmer no longer need the software that came bundled on a CD with the previous models?
Other than the new "Drag and Drop" feature, is there anything different on the newer USB Cart and Programmer when compared to the older models?
Also, with people that trade in the older USB Cart model, will they receive stickers for the new cart? The reason I ask is because I never received stickers with my USB carts. I tried contacting you about this back in April a few times (at the same address that you've provided in this thread in your first post), but never received a response on the situation. Is there an other way to contact you, or should there be a specific subject line used for the email?
Oh, with the new DnD Programmer, will there be support to backup the save file in Nanoloop 1.x carts? If so, I will be purchasing the new Programmer when I trade in my USB carts.

You're a good man, Jose Torres. Bummed I haven't seen you lately. I'd love to buy a USB Cartridge programmer when I get a chance.
Thanks for sharing this, and yeah, definitely post PICS of your work when you can! ![]()

Has the new pricing gone into place yet?
I know it says July 1st but I wasn't sure if you changed them yet. I just saw this thread and figured I would pick up some carts because my 64M and 4M carts aren't backing up correctly.

I had attempted to buy a Programmer w/2 cartridges tonight, but I was greeted with this. I was going to go with Nonfinite but he is out of Programmers and I didn't want to be without one.
"PayPal cannot process this transaction because of a problem with the seller's website. Please contact the seller directly to resolve this problem."
EDIT: I realized you were probably out of NON-USB carts so I said fuck it and bought a Programmer from your site, then 2 non-usb carts from Nonfinite.
CAN'T WAIT!

No there isn't and there won't be a version for OSX. You will have to upgrade your cart to the new version.

You use the program that comes on the CD to program the cart with whatever ROM you'd like. No discount on sale price.
