Databending does seem to be coming back around, just like disco music. I did write a tutorial on how to databend using audacity and whilst it means now everyone can do it hopefully there'll be those who realise you have to innovate in some way in order to get noticed.
I wrote a databending script recently and I'm a bit hesitant about releasing it as it could mean waaaaaay more n00bs just simply executing it on every image they can find.

You should make it a batch tool that just does a random image search, fucks the image data and automatically uploads it to 8bc.

Depends if I want to be killed by everyone on 8bc :-P There's already a few online services for uploading/glitching images, but having it auto upload here would be suicide!
