  • µB : 4 op. I'm not sure if everything is within hardware limits, because I don't know exactly how lax dosbox is with the number of simultanous voices. I agree with you on the compression actually, it's overdone on this one. Rushed master, my bad :/

  • boomlinde : Nice! 2 operators or four? Sounds really good either way, and the hi-fi drums add some flavor. I'm not so much a fan of the pushing compression though, but's that's just a minor pet peeve of mine.

  • flashbob : Nice oldschool vibe! And good work on that stoic yet varied straight 8th beat. :) DL'ed.

  • µB : That said, I did mix in Buzz. The Adlib is running from Mathilde through a Filter2 setup to split frequencies, those lines then go through StereoBox Pro each for stereo splitting, and into Jeskola Mixer. Post compression with Oomek Masteriser and Stereo Saturator.

  • µB : I don't use Buzz for my Adlib stuff, I'm using the DosBox emulation for it. I've been working on a OPL3 VSTi for some time now, but I keep tripping over things in the documentation I'm too stupid to comprehend. So it'll be a while until that's finished. :P

  • sixafterseven : It's sort of jazzy. Awesome. What machines did you use?

  • µB : Yeah drums are samples. No way to get OPL sound that fat. Unless you're oxygenstar, maybe. ;)

  • Jredd : This song is rad, I doubt that the drums are adlib. But bad ass all the same. :)

  • Keaton Blue : Awesome! Great feel and instrumentation throughout the whole song!
