Faxanadu - Overworld (ASOY Cover)

I plan on remixing lots of the soundtrack from the NES game Faxanadu, mostly because I think it has a really great soundtrack. This here is only a cover (of the Overworld song of Faxanadu), now that I've gotten the feel for it and have it's elements programmed I am going to start working out a remix. There are ways I could probably make this track stand better on it's own, but really I only made it for remixing purposes.

  • analogmoz : Thank you very much for covering the World Trunk Theme! Faxanadu had some of my very favorite music for the NES, hands down. Axis/Fallon did some great covers in IT format back 10 years ago, they might inspire; Google search the file names and ModArchive will pop up as the first links: Chip Version fwtc-f99.it More of a "remake" fwt-f99.it

  • 2ndself : Good remix but I still prefer the original. Faxanadu had some of the best game music I've ever heared. Currently looking for something of a similar style to Faxandu's music for my own game, with noi luck :{

  • frannydai : Not too crazy about this remix due to the excessive use of drums, but I liked the remix of the part around the middle. Keep it up!
